The idea of entering into the fire extinguisher business was inspired by his father, Mr. Marcelo T. Santos owner of Marcelo T. Santos Enterprises. At that moment Mr. Efren P. Santos was simply a helper and technician of his father’s company. Until such time that he thought of having his own. Thus EPS Enterprises was born on April 1976. It was started with a few workers since the business is only refilling and manufacturing small quantities of fire extinguishers. In the year 1990, it has expanded more delivery cars and sub-agent assigned at the different areas of the country. In 1996, by the grace of our Lord, the company built a four-storey building, additional working area and personnel. By the year 1997, it has commences importing Dry Chemical powder (Mono Ammonium Phosphate) and fire extinguisher accessories from China, which were trade to the manufacturers of fire extinguisher here in the Philippines.
