Excel Coil Coating Corp. (Excel) traces its roots as far back as the 1950s from its sister companies Southern Industrial Projects, Inc. and Chuayuco Steel Manufacturing Corp., two of the country’s leading galvanizers and among the first Asian companies to adopt continuous line production. The company first ventured in the pre-painted color roof business in 1978 using the pre-cut sheet-to-sheet method to manufacture its products. To meet the demand of the Philippines and Southeast Asian markets, Excel built its state-of-the-art continuous color line manufacturing facility in the mid-90s. It is the most modern and fastest line in the Philippines, capable of serving both the local and overseas markets.
